The Town of Lancaster Massachusetts was founded in 1653 and is located in Worcester County.
Lancaster is the site of about half a dozen private schools of which the community is very proud.
The town only contains one restaurant and no taverns and has remained a dry town since its incorporation in 1653. Residents note “it’s a quiet little town”.
